Named after
the famous talk show host, Rosie O'Donnell, our Rosie
was the talk of the town when she was showing. She
was in and out of the ring so quickly, finishing in 5
shows at 16 months of age, that people wondered what
happened to her! "One of
the soundest Akitas I have ever seen" was one judge's
comment about Rosie, and he was right. Her
completely correct structure and flawless movement made
her a "specials" bitch, even thought she
was never campaigned. Rosie
blessed us with three outstanding show puppies in her
first litter sired by our Ch
Timber. See her get, Levi,
Lyric and Merlin on our Present Stars page. Tragically,
only two and a half weeks after being bred for her second
litter, Rosie died suddenly of an aneurysm.
Although she will never have the chance to honor her sire
and dam by becoming their first ROM get, nor will she
achieve that goal herself, her beauty, presence and heart
and soul are seen every day here in her kids. We are
forever blessed to have had her here, even for such a
short time. |
